Not far away from King Fahed Mosque (See Shia and Sunni in Los Angeles: Part 1) is the Iman Cultural Center. A hub for Iranian Muslims, this space serves as much as a community center as a religious institution. Learn about the difference between Shia and Sunni Muslims, in addition to exploring the cultural geography of Islam. Following the visit to the Mosque, the tour will visit a little known slice of Indonesian culture in Los Angeles. Indonesia is the largest Muslim Country in the world and apparently has the best food!
