Event description

The theme of this year’s Business Symposium is Imagine ... Your Business Legacy. Join us for a full day event focused on topics to help you build your business or organization for long-term success. We live in a fast paced business environment that affects large and small businesses, entrepreneurs and not-for-profit organizations. Managing through change is critical not just to survive, but to thrive. The Symposium will inspire, educate and engage you as you learn from individuals who have achieved long-term success or created personal and corporate legacies.

We are honored to have Mr. Ron Losby, President & CEO of Steinway & Sons, as our keynote speaker. Steinway has been in business since 1853 and has built an incomparable reputation and legacy as a gold standard in the world of musical instruments.

In addition to this world-class keynote speaker, an array of dynamic breakout sessions will focus on a variety of topics to help position your company, organization or career for sustained success. The Symposium provides you practical tools, tips and techniques you can put to immediate use.

Student attendees will enhance their classroom experience through direct exposure to the diverse community of business professionals who attend the event, along with a roster of dynamic speakers.

Throughout the day, you’ll find many opportunities to network and cultivate new relationships and learn about the many products and services available from our local community sponsors. Refreshments and lunch are included in the registration fee, and students attend free of charge.

Now in its ninth year, The Business Symposium has become a “must attend” experience that facilitates professional development while enabling interaction between the business community, students and faculty.
