About this Event

Dates, Hours, and Tickets:

Beginning on July 30, the Museum will be open Thursday through Sunday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. From July 30 through September 6, admission is free for ALL visitors. Advance ticketing for timed entrance tickets will be required for ALL, including members, and available for one of two time periods each day – 10 a.m.-1 p.m.; 1p.m.-4 p.m.. Because tickets are limited each day, we ask you to please arrive on time with your ticket either printed out on paper or available on your smartphone, to ensure prompt check-in.

Beginning Thursday, September 10, ticket prices are $10 for adults, $5 for children 5-17 and free for children under 5. Museum members will remain free. Advance ticketing for timed entrance tickets will be required for ALL, including members, and available for one of two time periods each day – 10 a.m.-1 p.m.; 1p.m.-4 p.m.. Because tickets are limited each day, we ask you to please arrive on time with your ticket either printed out on paper or available on your smartphone, to ensure prompt check-in.

Things to Do:

Access amazing art – three exhibitions buildings and a special grounds exhibition will be open and available.

• Pizzagalli Center for Art and Education, featuring Creature Comfort: Animals in the House

• Pleissner Gallery

• Webb Gallery of American Art

 Please note that each indoor gallery has occupancy limits.

• Outdoor exhibition by sculptor Peter Kirkiles, Peter Kirkiles: At Scale

Beautiful gardens and grounds for walking.

Areas for relaxation and contemplation – enjoy Mindful Moments on the grounds.

Opportunities for outdoor, creative activity for children of all ages with Webby – a story walk, imaginative play, scavenger hunts, and more.

Amenities:

• Food and drink: Our café is closed. Visitors are welcome to pack in (and pack out) picnics, snacks, and water to enjoy outdoors on the grounds. Water and snacks will also be available for sale at a vending machine near the Museum entrance.

• Transportation: Grounds transportation will be available, but limited; visitors needing assistance should alert a Museum staff member, and we will do our best to provide assistance.

Health and Safety:

Please help us maintain a healthy and safe environment for all our visitors and staff by observing the following guidelines, based on the current recommendations from the CDC and the Vermont Department of Health:

• Masks are mandatory. Visitors age 2 and up and all staff must wear masks while outdoors on the grounds and inside buildings. Masks will be available at the Admissions desk for those who require them.

• Please help us by maintaining six feet or more of social distancing and postponing your visit if you are feeling unwell in any way.

• Restrooms are available at select locations throughout the grounds, and access will be restricted to single use.

• Hand sanitizer is available at multiple locations throughout the grounds.
