SheJumps x Sports Basement | CA | International Women's Day Film Screening

Please join SheJumps and Sports Basement for a special screening of Precious Leader Woman (47 min) and Stepping Out: Into the Alaska Range (17 min) to help us celebrate women and girls in the outdoors for International Women's Day! Doors open at 6:00pm for happy hour and mingling (beer provided by Montucky Cold Snacks by donation) and we'll kick off the film at 6:45pm.

Precious Leader Woman tells the story of Spencer O'Brien, a snowboarder hailing from a remote British Columbian village who defied the odds to represent Canada on the world class stage. During her journey, she finds the strength she needs to overcome a debilitating setback by reconnecting with her Indigenous heritage.

Stepping Out tells the inspiring story of three women who set out to ski in the Alaska range for the first time, serving as their own guides to test their limits.

This is a FREE event with a suggested donation of $10.
