Agencies and agents which to do not do so will lose their tickets.
How can I contact the organizer with any questions?
Contact Michigan Professional Nanny Association at email@example.com
What is the refund policy?
Tickets are non-refundable. You may, however, transfer or gift the ticket to someone else. If you choose to do this, please contact us as soon as possible so that we can make name changes on certificates and name badges.
Did this event used to cost more? How is it less this time?
Yes, in the past tickets for this event have been $40/person. This year, much of the cost is covered by a grant that Kadima Services received to provide this training. The grant covers the facility, the trainer, the textbooks, and a portion of the food per person. The $20 ticket price covers a variety of other event expenses, and those add up. Materials for printing programs, name badges, labels, certificates; the balance for food; bags for goody bags; tickets for the raffle; folders; pens; paper products, and more. Typically the ticket sales have only covered a portion of the cost of putting on the event, and the remainder has been paid out of the personal pockets of the organizers. We do not anticipate any profit from this event. If there is any remaining money from ticket sales, it will be donated to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
What about parking?
Kadima Services has two parking lots: One behind the building and one directly across the side street on the west side of the building. Both are free and secure.
What should I bring?
Please bring your smile and a willingness to learn. We expect to have agencies present during lunch, so it would be smart to bring copies of your resume/portfolio and/or business cards if you have them. If you have a side business which is NOT nanny related, please feel free to bring cards or flyers for our resource table. Speaking of the resource table, if you have child care or child development related books or resources that you no longer need, bring those for the resource table to share with another nanny. Please do not bring laptops or recording devices. Wifi is not available.
