Parking Information: Please enter the American Legion grounds from Kings Hill Road, rather than Route 15/29. Parking areas are gravel near the building, with overflow on the grassy area just after entering from Kings Hill Road.

Solar energy can be an asset to local communities if planned well, or a continual source of complaint for planners and elected officials. Learn how to plan for utility-scale solar development and promote residential solar projects at this free half-day workshop hosted by the Rappahannock-Rapidan Regional Commission and Piedmont Environmental Council.
Registration and light refreshments will begin at 8:30 am, and the event will start promptly at 9:00am.
