Michele Rickett is a leader, author and speaker in the battle against one of the greatest injustices of our time: the widespread abuse and exploitation of women and girls. She Is Safe is an international ministry working to prevent, rescue and restore women and girls in high risk places around the world, equipping them to build a life of freedom, faith and a strong future.
Motivated by the love and call of Christ, Michele is remarkable in her ability to instill hope and to shine light on real solutions in the darkest of situations.
Michele has co-authored several books with InterVarsity Press. The latest, Forgotten Girls, is an inspiring collection of personal stories about real girls from Asia to Africa transcending violence, abuse and slavery.

Will I receive a tax deductible receipt for my ticket purchase?
Tax deductible receipts will not be issued for ticket purchases since guests will receive a meal valued at the approximate price of the ticket. Individuals purchasing multiple tickets (such as a full table) should consult their tax preparer to determine eligibility for a tax deduction. However, individuals who make donations to She is Safe via this website or on the evening of the dinner will be issued a tax receipt.
How do I find the dinner location once I arrive at Trinity International University?
The dinner will be held in Hinkson Hall which is located in the Rodine building. Upon entering through the main campus entrance, take an immediate left and go past the book store. This road will go through several campus apartments and then will go straight through to the Rodine building parking lot.

What is the attire for the dinner?
Will I receive a physical ticket when I register for the dinner?
No, your "ticket" is electronic. When you arrive for the dinner you will only need to provide your name at the registration table.
I plan on purchasing a half or full table of tickets. Do I need to provide the names of all of my guests at the time of purchase?
No, you will only be required to provide your name as the table/half table host. However, if you do know the names of your guests, you will be given an opportunity to provide them at the time of purchase. Guest names can be added later by e-mailing the event organizer.
How will the funds raised at the dinner be used?
100% of the proceeds from the dinner will be used to support the ministry of She is Safe which works to prevent, rescure and restore women and girls from abuse and exploitation in high risk places around the world, equipping them to build a life of freedom, faith and a strong future. Additionally, the She is Safe Chicago Advocacy group has requested that half of all funds raised be used specifically towards the emergency aid currently needed for women and girls in the South Sudan.
