Description

Award-winning writer, Sharyn McCrumb, is best known for her Appalachian “ballad” novels, including the New York Times-bestsellers The Ballad of Tom Dooley, The Ballad of Frankie Silver, and Ghost Riders. Her new novel, The Unquiet Grave, takes place in 19th century West Virginia and is based on the true story of one of the strangest murder trials in American history – the case of the Greenbrier Ghost.

As part of North Georgia Reads, Cobb County Public Library will host Sharyn McCrumb on Saturday, November 4 at 6 pm at the Switzer Library, 266 Roswell Street, Marietta, GA 30060. Free and open to the public. Books will be available for purchase and signing.

North Georgia Reads was created to promote collaboration between neighboring library systems and to bring bestselling authors to a community of 46 libraries in the region.
