The Evening's Discussion:

Our expert panel will discuss how women are recognized and promoted in the workplace currently and what it will take to truly advance women into positions of leadership and authority in the 21st century workplace. The discussion will center around positioning and strategy as well as the responsibility the organization has toward this end and the roles it plays in advancing women.

Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with the panelists and network with other professionals.

Wine and hors d'oeuvres will be served.

A portion of the proceeds will be donated to a local charity focused on advancing women.

The Summit

Program time: 8:00am - 5:00pm


This interactive full day professional development program and experience for women is focused on their advancement within their workplaces. Throughout the day, attendees will learn, discuss and practice the often implicit (unwritten and unspoken), but necessary skills needed to advance in the workplace. Examples of such skills are: how to build an effective professional network; having the right brand; exhibiting leadership/executive presence and confidence; engaging others through effective communication (e.g. storytelling, messaging) and; organizational navigation/advocacy. A cornerstone of the Summit, is the advancement of women as an economic imperative which includes the importance of economic security as one’s career advances, hence the need to practice and master the implicit skills.

**At the end of the Summit, attendees will receive a certificate indicating they have completed 8 hours of in-person, hands-on leadership and professional skills development in preparation for their career advancement.


WORKSHOPS: offered in the morning and again in the afternoon, where career experts share information, insights with tips about how to practice and master professional branding, leadership storytelling as skills for career advancement and the economics behind one’s advancement. The workshops are:

• Telling Your Story For Maximum Impact

Telling your story makes facts impactful. It tells people not only about your values but how you get things done in a compelling way. It allows the listener to connect with you and invites them to be part of the journey. Storytelling can help propel your career, get buy in for a project, and builds trust. After the talk you’ll have the opportunity to start to tell your own story. Our expert coach will facilitate a group to help you start putting your story together. 

• What’s Your Professional Brand?

Your professional brand speaks for you when you are not present. Developing an authentic, success driven brand is a key component to career advancement. Do you know what yours is? Does your brand accurately reflect who you are? Listen to our expert speaker discuss what makes a professional brand and how a well crafted brand can help you advance.  After the talk you’ll work in a facilitated group with our expert coach to begin to develop your authentic professional brand.
