Event Details

HoneeBee Productions and Lokal Hui Kaleponi invites you to come and enjoy the day "island style" while giving aloha to the victims of Sandy Hook Elementary. This is a benefit concert with all proceeds going directly to the Sandy Hook Elementary School in Connecticut. Come and enjoy great island music, dancing and a "local" style plate lunch with your friends and family.

Island Blend, Ka Nalu and Na Leo Pumehana are three local bay area bands that have spread their "aloha" and delighted audiences around the bay. Whether it is a local style kanikapila feel with Island Blend, beautiful Hawaiian harmony of Ka Nalu or the sweet and kolohe stylings from Na Leo Pumehana you will be uplifted with the enchanting melodies that only Hawaiian music gives!

The Pacific Soul Band offers a unique blend of musicality covering music from R&B, Oldschool, Funk, Hip-Hop, Soft Rock, and Top 40 dance tunes from the past and present. Family runs deep within the music of the Pacific Soul Band. A long generation of rooted ties to the neighborhoods of North Milpitas and East San Jose influences their musicality. A majority of the band are related and have been playing music together for several years.

Pacific Soul Band was formed by the band's uncle, guitarist/vocalist Alberto Perez from the latin recording group Trio Intimo. Alberto’s influence and drive was the main pillar to helping them structure their foundation. The band also credits their uncle Eddie Minnifield, saxophonist for Sheila E, as a big influence to the boys. Eddie’s mentoring has helped them tremendously on their approach to the music business.

San Francisco powerhouse, Native Elements has been keeping the energetic, feel-good reggae tradition alive in the Bay Area for over 19 years. Comprised of 10 seasoned musicians with decades of experience in rock, metal, blues, jazz, R&B and hip hop, this eclectic and fearless crew meld their unique influences into a contemporary, melodic horn-driven party taking their listeners through improvisational peaks and valleys from blazing guitar to soaring saxophone wails. Having grown up together since elementary school (playing in garage bands and skateboarding) in Daly City and South SF, CA, Native Elements bring a uniquely warm experience to the stage that is both entertaining and uplifting...Fun for all!!

CRSB is a musical duo based out of the San Francisco Bay Area who created their own brand of Island Soul-infused Pop. Consisting of members Chris Ramos and Sonny B., CRSB combines acoustic driven, ukulele-based honest and memorable songwriting giving you "right out of the islands" feel.

The group garnered mass attention from the public after they began to release live home videos performing their original compositions. Posted from personal YouTube accounts of Ramos, the collection of videos has amassed over three and a half million plays. The group self-released the LP “Eclectivity” in 2009 in response to the demand of their rapidly expanding fan base.
