**This training is for City of Sacramento Employee Only**

SharePoint is the City’s team and project collaboration platform. In this hands-on introductory class, you will learn the basics you need to start using SharePoint, so you can share ideas and collaborate with people in your team even if they are in another department or organization.

You’ll learn:

  • How SharePoint can help supercharge your communication and collaboration within teams
  • How to navigate SharePoint
  • How to view, create, edit, and share documents
  • How to watch files, folders, and lists for changes using alerts, so you can stay informed
  • How to manage shared project task lists to help the team meet project goals and objectives
  • How to work with a shared notebook using OneNote
  • How to get help

Note: This class is a prerequisite of the SharePoint Collaboration Site Master course.
