Presents: SharePoint Work Flow
In this session we will look at workflow in SharePoint 2010, with a specific focus on new features and capabilities. For those of you completely new to SharePoint and/or 2010, there will be a brief tour and a look at the capabilities of the Document Library (metadata, check in, versioning, etc.)
We will finish by applying an “out of the box” approval workflow template to the library, and set the groundwork for important workflow terminology.
Then we will create our own new workflow using Visio, transition the workflows into SharePoint Designer (with the new ability to create site level workflow templates) and finally move over to workflow development in Visual Studio 2010 using its templates and tools. Time permitting we will look at how you can upgrade your custom workflows from 2007 to 2010.
There is something for everyone in this session whether you are a developer, designer, or business analyst!
