Since then, Rod has been evangelizing anyone who will listen. He’s knocked on hundreds of doors, stood on countless street corners, and preached in free speech areas on numerous colleges to bring God's message to the lost.

Speaker Topics:

"How to Share the Gospel with Children" (Andrei Sava) - The Good News of Jesus Christ is timeless and intergenerational. Even though most parents teach their children to be good and model the character of Jesus, we often forget that only the Gospel of Jesus Christ can transform a child’s heart to be able to obey whole-heartedly. Furthermore, the Gospel is the Good News that our children are heirs of the True King, whose lives have been designed by Him to be lived in true enjoyment of His glory and to have a deep relationship with Him, the God of the Universe.

"Fabricating Jesus: How the Cults Distort the Gospel of Christ" (Tony Gurule) - Many believe in God and Jesus, including Christians, Muslims, Mormons, and Jehovah’s Witnesses. This leads some to think our beliefs are fundamentally the same. However, when you ask these various groups, “Who is God?” and “Who is Jesus?,” you hear fundamentally different answers. Therefore, it’s logically possible that we can all be wrong, but it’s logically impossible that we can all be right. However, there are eternal consequences to being wrong! Christians need to know how to respond to those who distort the “Good News”. We must proclaim the true Gospel! We must help people understand there’s only one person who can reconcile us with the Creator. “Will the ‘real’ Jesus please stand up?”

"The Twelfth Man" (Rod Savala) - An athlete will tell you that fans and spectators play a vital role in any sporting event. While we can acknowledge the valid points made using the analogy of "fan" vs. "follower” in recent books, in the realm of evangelism, the analogy is quite different. The Church is assigned the role of telling others how the One Player won the victory for us. How excited, enthusiastic, and boisterous should our cheers be as we boast of that One Player? The game is over, and the victory has already been won!

"A Scandal to the Name of Christ Jesus" (Eben Sherwood) - Why do we care about those who have never heard the Gospel? We care because salvation through Jesus Christ is available to ALL! In order for those who haven’t heard to hear and receive Christ as Lord and Savior, someone must be willing to tell them the Good News. Therefore, there’s no proclamation until someone accepts the call to be sent in the Name of the Lord to share His message of reconciliation with the Father to the world. The Word clearly communicates that faith in Christ comes through hearing and hearing through the Word of God. (Romans 10:12-17).

"The Evangelist and the Beauty of Faith: God is in Control" (Mary Richardson) - When I think about the beauty of our faith, I am totally amazed at the way that God orchestrates every single detail, from the beginning to the end. I am amazed at the way that He draws us to himself with loving kindness, then cleanses us from all unrighteousness and equips us for the work of ministry. He sanctifies us, He justifies us, and He places us in places and situations that we could never have imagined. Nothing is by chance or happenstance. God is in control! All we have to do is submit ourselves to His authority and He will do the rest. That’s a beautiful thing!
