Shapelab presents a new student-led event - "The History of Web Design." Part of the Digital Media Design Festival, this event aims to explore and teach the history of web design. Participants can interact with various websites designed after their respective eras and learn about the philosophies that shaped the way people thought about technology. This event focuses on 3 key periods:

  1. The Beginning Of Everything (1973-2004)
  2. The Humanisation of Technology (2004-2015)
  3. Less Is More. (2015 - 2025)

This event takes place in Building 12 (Gillespie Building), Black Box (Building 12, Level 2, Room 103) at RMIT University.
