SHAMANIC DRUMMING CIRCLE - WANING CRESCENT MOON

Come join us for a mesmerising evening of shamanic drumming under the enchanting Waning Crescent moon at North Kessock Village Hall.

The Waning Crescent Moon appears as a thin crescent, symbolising a time of surrender, rest, and healing. It's a period to fully let go, rest, and prepare for the new cycle ahead. Best for: Surrendering to the natural flow of life, resting, and rejuvenating your energy.

Let the rhythmic beats of the drums guide you on a spiritual journey as we connect with the energies of the earth and the universe. Whether you are a seasoned practitioner or new to shamanic practices, all are welcome to experience the power of drumming in a community circle. Bring your drum, rattle, or simply yourself and immerse yourself in the magic of the moment. Don't miss this opportunity to tap into the ancient wisdom and healing vibrations of shamanic drumming.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need any experience to join the drumming circle?

No experience is necessary! All skill levels are welcome. The focus is on intention and connection, not musical ability.

Do I need to own a drum to attend this event?

If you have a drum or rattle, you are welcome to bring it with you. If not, please don't worry, as I always have some community drums that you can borrow for the day.

What happens during a shamanic drumming circle?

We gather in a sacred space, set intentions, drum together to a steady rhythm, and often journey inward using the drumbeat as a guide.

What should I wear or bring?

Wear comfortable clothing. You may also want to bring a journal, water, and anything you’d like for comfort or to place in the altar, like a cushion, blanket, yoga mat and also some food to share.

Is this a religious ceremony?

No, it is a spiritual practice open to all beliefs. It’s about connecting to nature, spirit, and your own inner guidance.

Can children attend?

Children under 16 are welcome with parent or guardian supervision. They must participate mindfully and respectfully. Please note I am not responsible for supervising children. If a child becomes disruptive, we may kindly ask them and their guardian to step outside to preserve the sacred space.
