Shakti’s Journey: A Mindfulness Tour - launches at SoulJour Sanctuary
“Shakti” artist David Van Zandt and MindBody Co-Founder, Entrepreneur, and host of Wellness Revolutionaries podcast Blake Beltram partnered to create and launch Shakti’s Journey - a Mindfulness Tour. Shakti is a 7’ tall bronze sculpture, brought to life through artist David Van Zandt over a period of three years. She is a transmitter of positive, life-force energy, and represents the expansion of that energy in the individual as well as the rise of the divine feminine in our culture. Experiencing Shakti and the life-force she emanates, in person, is a unique and powerful experience. Meditating with her may be life-changing.
It was one night in the Spring of 2018 that Blake Beltram had what he calls a very realistic “vision” in the dream state. He describes the experience as a “male presence”, who did not reveal himself but rather “showed” Blake a vision - almost as if watching a movie - of putting Shakti on an open, flatbed trailer and taking her on a Mindfulness Tour of the United States. This vision, or dream state “movie” was shown over and over again, for what felt like hours. Having been inspired, in 1998, to buy a book and start a software company, Blake immediately intuited this vision as a calling - as something he had to do. Shakti was in her clay original form at that time - and the dream ultimately inspired Beltram to purchase Shakti #1 so that she could be cast into the bronze form - as in the vision. One thing lead to another, and the vision is now becoming a reality, and taking on a life of its own.
