Description

Shakespeare in Detroit (SiD) will present a reading of Shakespeare's horror, Titus Andronicus, inside the Ghost Bar at the historical Whitney restaurant in Midtown Detroit (the reading will take place in the Woodward room next to the bar). MUST BE 21 or OLDER to attend.

Come hear the goriest of Shakespeare's play's in celebration of the Halloween season. You'll receive three drinks during what we call an inebriated reading. They are as follows:

1. The Witching Hour (a mini martini)

2. Absinthe (sweet, sugar-y absinthe) with a demo by our bar staff

3. Lavinia's Tears ( a customized cocktail for this event)

AND

4. everyone will receive a Shakespeare in Detroit t-shirt in black (size large available only).

Audience members are encouraged to wear costumes as a winner for BEST COSTUME will be announced at the intermission and will receive a dining gift card and a spa treatment for being the most creative SiD patron that night.
