Join Shakespeare Academy @ Stratford this summer for the 2019 "Pursued by a Bear" Ensemble's production of THE WINTER'S TALE, directed by Artistic Director Sara Holdren.


THE WINTER'S TALE is performed in rotating rep with CORIOLANUS (dir. Benjamin Curns).




THE WINTER'S TALE SHOW DATES & TIMES:

7/28, 7/30, 8/1, 8/3, and 8/4 at 7:30 PM EST

Performances take place outside on the grounds of the former American Festival Shakespeare Theatre. Seating is providedplease do not bring your own chairs. The show will run 90 minutes, without intermission.


TICKETS:

Reserved seating is available for $10 online (through Eventbrite). Tickets are FREE on the day of the show and subject to availability. Seating is first come, first served.


PLEASE NOTE: THE WINTER'S TALE features a moment in which the audience will be asked to move, so we recommend leaving large bags at home and coming prepared to walk a short distance! If you need to make special arrangements regarding mobility, please email us here and we will help you out.

FAQs

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

There is lots of parking available on the grounds of the former American Shakespeare Festival Theatre. On show days, there will be signs and people to help direct you. If you are traveling by train, we are located 1 mile from the MetroNorth station in Stratford.

What can I bring into the event?

Just yourself! Seating is provided! Please do not bring any chairs or picnic baskets. You are welcome to picnic on the grounds before the show.

How can I contact the organizer with any questions?

What happens if it rains?

In the unfortunate case of rain, audience will be contacted by email and updates will be posted on our Facebook. We will delay performances due to rain for up to 30 minutes. If it is unsafe for our performers and audience members, we will cancel the performance. If you are able to attend another evening, we will be happy to accomodate your reservation on another evening.
