Among these were 41 grocery stores, 30 restaurants, 21 churches, 6 privately owned airplanes, 5 hotels, 4 drug stores, 2 dentists, 2 movie theaters, a bank, a post office, a hospital with 15 physicians/surgeons, plus several libraries, schools, law offices and even a bus system! All
within a 36 block radius. The year was 1921.... in Greenwood, Tulsa Oklahoma aka Black Wall Street!
