Shabby Boho Dream Catchers
Thu, March 23, 2017, 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM EDT
Dream catchers are one of the most fascinating traditions of Native Americans. Many Native Americans believe that the night air was full off good and bad dreams. The original dream catcher was intended to protect the sleeping individual from negative dreams, while letting positive dreams through. The negative dreams would get caught in the web and be released when the sun rose and the positive dreams would slip through the hole in the center of the dream catcher.
With gentle guidance you will learn how to create a unique and personal dream catcher using a hoop and a variety of materials (lace, fabric, ribbon, yarn, feathers, and beads), all provided in the cost of the class. If you wish to bring some of your own from home you are welcome to do that also.
