Shabbat 2020
Event Information
About this Event
Event History:
Pioneered in 1994 by the Rohr Chabad Center for Jewish Student Life, Shabbat 2020, co-sponsored by many groups on campus, aims to unite a huge and diverse group of Jewish students at Binghamton University in a joyous and meaningful Jewish experience.
After having surpassed the stated goal of 1800 for the last few years, the event is being taken to the next level and is being renamed Shabbat 2020!! Shabbat 2020 is about you!
This year, in light of COVID-19, Shabbat 2020 will be going Virtual and will be open to all students, alumni, families and friends.
Here’s how it works:
- Register here to participate in Shabbat 2020.
- Join Benny Friedman, members of Six13, and thousands of students, alumni, parents and friends throughout the nation for an uplifting Pre-Shabbat virtual program, and show that nothing stands between us and Shabbat!
Access details to the virtual program will be sent to you by email.
BU students & locals in Binghamton that registered by Thursday 11:59pm are receiving individual Shabbat meals from Chabad.
