Description

The Alamo-Texas Revolution Leadership Workshop is a unique one-day seminar that uses the power of story-telling to convey timeless leadership lessons relevant to today’s leaders in City Government. The inspiring stories of Texas legends like Jim Bowie, William Travis, Davy Crockett, Juan Sequin, Sam Houston, and Stephen Austin are brought to life in stirring fashion.

From the heroic and tragic defense of the Alamo to the stunning Texan victory at San Jacinto, the Alamo-Texas Revolution Seminar provides participants with real-life leadership lessons for the 21st-century manager. The workshop will feature PowerPoint, video clips, role-playing exercises, leadership skits, self-improvement planning, organizational assessments and small group discussions.

Participants will learn how to: be a better communicator; improve teamwork; deal with a difficult subordinate or boss; align team members with their strengths; motivate and retain employees; deal with political realities; and foster a culture of integrity and commitment to service.
