This course is a realtime, interactive webinar. Through lecture, group discussion, and practice tests, this intensive three-day course focuses on preparing students to take section 3 of the LARE. Students will be exposed to fundamentals of planning and design related skills and known CLARB grading standards from published sources. We will practice applying our problem solving techniques to example tests. Each student will receive a course PDF file containing approximately 370 pages of information pertinent to the exam, 25 design advanced item type problems and at least 235 test questions in the section 3 syllabus. Students will also be encouraged to form national study groups, which we have found to be an extremely valuable benefit of the course.
