Featured Presentation: QAQC Revit Audit with Microsoft Platforms

Since Microsoft will be our host, Alberto Tono will show some integration between Microsoft products and ecosystem with BIM workflows specifically for the quality assurance and quality control. It will present how it is possible to easily integrate AI solutions within PowerApps and PowerBi in order to master the Audit process of the BIM Files.

Speaker: Alberto Tono

Alberto Tono serves as Design Technology Specialist at HOK with a O1 Visa - Extraordinary Alien Status. Prior to HOK, Alberto was working in the computational design space since 2015 for BIM workflow on large projects. His studies took him to Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT) in China and to Rene van Zuuk Architect Studio in the Netherlands. He is very keen on computational design and machine learning. Learning and this passion inspired him to found and helped various communities, Deeplearningitalia, Italian Dynamo User Group, San Francisco Computational Design User Group, Bimhox. He also is a speaker in several international conferences and universities such as Berkeley and MIT. He is the co-founder and board of director of the Alumni Unipd Chapter in the Bay Area that helps to connect his university with the Bay Area Ecosystem.

NEXT HACKATHON

Hack the Future of AEC!

This year for the first time Digital Built Week North America will include a hackathon to kick off the week in Seattle on Monday and Tuesday July 15th and 16th. Aligning with the new generative design stream of classes at the BILT conference, the theme of the event will be "Generative Design in Practice", where we'll be looking for teams to explore practical applications of generative design integrated into plausible building decision workflows.

Whether you've got an idea for direct-to-fabrication, conceptual modeling, engineering optimization, or construction sequencing, we'll want to hear from you! Many past hackathon projects have gone on to corporate and commercial success, and we'd like to see you take home a project that can be developed into a useful addition to your practice and the AEC industry. Whatever your technical skill level, we'd love to see you there:
