Event description

Description

San Francisco State University is committed to the principles of free speech and the open exchange of ideas. Last April, Nir Barkat, Mayor of Jerusalem, visited our campus and his presentation to students, faculty and staff was disrupted.
Subsequently, I extended the invitation for him to return to campus next time he was in the Bay Area.

Next week, we will welcome Nir Barkat back to San Francisco State University, and I invite the campus community to a conversation with the mayor:

Thursday April 6th
Seven Hills Conference Center
10-11:15 am.

Pre-registration and a ticket are required in order to attend:

Please note the following if you are interested in attending:
You must register by noon on Monday April 3rd. 150 tickets are available.
You must bring your printed ticket and a valid ID (Student ID, Driver’s License or ID card) in order to be admitted to the event.

As we welcome Mayor Barkat back to San Francisco State University, I hope that this will be an interesting and engaging conversation.

**SF State is committed to our academic values, including equity/inclusion and the free speech rights of all.
