Event Details

Cheers to Human Rights Day!

Please join the International Justice Resource Center, the Center for Justice and Accountability and Amnesty International USA for a happy hour get-together in celebration of Human Rights Day.

December 10 marks the 64th anniversary of the adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, which identifies and affirms the fundamental rights and privileges all human beings are entitled to enjoy.

We'll be hosting this informal reception to bring together Bay Area human rights practitioners, catch up on one another's news and upcoming activities, and lay the groundwork for continued communication and collaboration on issues of mutual interest.  We'll have new resources to share, including copies of this animated video and advocacy manual.  Please bring any new resources you'd like to share with others.

This event will be held at RallyPad, a non-profit incubator and event space located just south of the Montgomery Street BART, at 144 2nd Street.

Appetizers and drinks will be served. Please RSVP so we can be sure to have plenty! Donations will be put towards event costs, and otherwise to IJRC's I Am a Human with Rights! campaign.

International Justice Resource Center

The International Justice Resource Center provides victims, activists, and attorneys with the advice and information they need to protect their own and others’ rights under international human rights law. By educating, training, and guiding human rights defenders, IJRC is helping close the gap between human rights guarantees and local realities.
