SF Coaches July 2011 Gathering
Wednesday, July 13, 2011 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM (PDT)
San Francisco, CA
SF Coaches is pleased to highlight two of our very own SF Coaches Chapter Members this month for an evening on Conscious Leadership.
Awareness: The Leader’s Edge
Presenter: Monique Martineau
Join Monique Martineau as she describes how leaders can differentiate between intelligence and wisdom, external and internal motivation, and communication skills and deeper connection. She’ll help you spot leaders’ blind spots that prevent them from successfully engaging their followers. You will gain tools to support your own and your clients’ leadership in order to:
- Dissipate conflict before it gets heated and enhance the ability to influence others.
- Differentiate between behavior driven by ego and true nature to access inherent wisdom.
About the Presenter:
Monique Martineau’s experience includes 20 years in business and personal development. In 2001, she earned her coaching certification from Guiding Mindful Change in San Diego. She has studied with Zen teacher Adyashanti for 10 years. Her clients include Cisco and NASA and individuals from Intuit, and Lucas Films. For more information, visit www.moniquemartineau.com.
What’s Your Leadership Tilt?
Presenter: Abigail Ivins
As coaches, we strive to serve the higher purposes of our clients, the world, and ourselves. How do we avoid the trap of unwittingly colluding with our clients to meet either their self-serving ego needs...or even worse, our own? We can become aware of our intentions, which emanate from lower level, subconscious personas or from higher-level personas that reflect our core true selves. Abby will introduce us to the Tilt 360 Leadership Predictor, a strengths-based tool to increase awareness of our underlying intentions. For more information, visit tilt360leaders.com.
About the Presenter:
Abby is a Client Services Partner with Tilt Coaching & Consulting, Inc. and founder of Present Path Consulting. She has 20 years of leadership and coaching experience, including management consulting and strategic planning with Merrill Lynch/Bank of America and Robertson Stephens. She has led associates through strategic shifts driven by mergers and acquisitions, role redefinition, and leadership changes. Abby provides a fresh perspective on the challenges facing leaders and teams today. For more information, visit www.present-path.com.
In response to popular requests, we’ve added a Relationship-Building segment to our Coaches chapter gatherings. It’s a structured way to develop a sense of community with other coaches by getting to know who they are, what they do, and how we can all help and support each other. Don’t miss it! Following the Relationship-Building session will be our Speakers Program for the evening.
6:30 - 6:45 pm Registration
6:45 - 7:20 pm Structured Networking
