San Francisco Bay Area ACP April 2017 Monthly Meeting

In resiliency, the goal is to achieve “readiness.” However, how well do we actually measure readiness, and what are the metrics that we use? Join us for the lessons learned on eBay’s journey to measure this essence and quantify the qualitative with Scott Baldwin, Head of Global Business Continuity at eBay as he presents “Measuring Business Continuity Success”.

Your RSVP guarantees your place in this event. Please note, there are limited seats, so If you are unable to attend after registering, please cancel your registration so that others may attend.

11:15am - 11:30am Meet as a group to go through security

11:30am - 12pm Welcome & Networking Brown Bag Lunch

12am - 12:25pm ACP Chapter Business Meeting

12:30pm – 1:30pm Keynote Presentation on “Measuring Business Continuity Success” by Scott Baldwin, Head Global Business Continuity at eBay

Often, our KPIs include things like the number of BIAs/BCPs/DRPs, a score on a maturity model, or exercise results. While these can all be important indicators, they do not always provide an accurate measurement of actual readiness. In Scott's presentation, we will hear how eBay developed ways to identify and measure true engagement and readiness – the ability to effectively respond to a disruption – and not just their ability to write plans or carry out exercises.

1:30 - 1:45p Networking Break

1:45 - 2:25p Facility Overview with Q & A

2:25 - 2:30p Closing
