~ Enlarge your understanding of the hope, help, and healing that Jesus can bring.
FRIDAY, MAY 26
7:00 - 8:30 p.m.
PLENARY 1: Bryan Kliewer “Sexuality, Truth & Grace” Sexual temptation and brokenness is a common human experience but we usually hide and pretend to be different from who we are — but God knows, God cares, God brings restoration, wholeness and abundant life.
PLENARY 2: Dan Hitz "Jesus Heals—From Brokenness to Wholeness” Dan shares his journey from sexual and emotional brokenness to finding hope and healing through the transformational power of Jesus Christ. He shares the devastating effects of growing up with a paranoid schizophrenic mother, sexual abuse, and fear; to help others understand some of the things that can influence a person to embrace life choices that lead to further emotional pain. He also shares how Jesus Christ can call us out of addictive sin, transform our desires, and call the dead parts of our heart back to life.
SATURDAY, MAY 27
9:00 a.m. - 12:15 p.m.
PLENARY 3: Josh Gilman “Living Pure in a Pornified World: Part 1” As the Church is overwhelmed by a sex-saturated and desensitized culture, do we understand the full impact that violent, degrading pornography has on our minds and society as a whole? Is it possible to find freedom, and is the Gospel really enough to fight back?
PLENARY 4: Peter Mahaffey “Living Pure in a Pornified World: Part 2” Biblical principles to help in the fight against porn and sexual temptation.
