Event description

Description

Please join BBSI HR Consultant, Jeene Leahy, for an invaluable and interactive training that will paint a picture of how imperative it is to ensure your workplace is free from harassing and discriminatory behavior. Harassing work environments damage employee morale and create financial and legal exposure for employers.

Though harassment training for supervisors has always been a good idea; it is also required by law for all California employers with 50 or more employees and it is highly recommended for all businesses regardless of size.

Additionally, effective April 1, 2016 employers with 5 or more employees must have a written policy against harassment which must meet certain requirements including employer’s affirmative duty to prevent harassment and discrimination and a written complaint process.

This dynamic workshop is a way to provide the information you need to know, teaching you essential management skills while discussing the legally required harassment related topics.
