In honor of Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM), we are proud to announce our first annual "Sexism in STEM: Trials, Triumphs, & Hope" forum hosted by the PCC STEM Center. We will gather to explore the difficult challenges we as women and gender nonconforming individuals face as researchers, engineers, and educators of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM).
For the evening, high school and college students are invited to participate in dialogue with female STEM professionals and community leaders. Hear their stories, ask questions, and explore support from local organizations dedicated to providing resources for young women interested in pursuing a career in STEM.
