Event description

Description

Do you ever find yourself with a client who has a question about birth control, reproductive health, or healthy sexuality and just have no idea where to point them? This training is for you! Mary-Margaret Sweeney, DVN's Training Services Manager, has been a sex and relationship educator for over a decade. Her commitment to this work was only reinforced during her time as a case manager and birth doula, realizing that so many of her client's anxieties and even life circumstances could be relieved for want of a little sex education.

We will cover basic contraceptive methods, local laws regarding reproductive health, and very basic reproductive knowledge. You may be surprised at how much you didn't learn in school!

Click here for more information on Mary-Margaret and her work as a sex educator outside of her role at DVN.

**Please note the change in location. And thank you to Zachary Alexander of CHIP for help in securing a larger, more comfortable space for us!

**A detailed agenda will be sent to participants prior to training. We have had some feedback on our evaulations that folks were showing up at 8:30 expecting the training to begin right at that time. Training begins promptly at 9AM, after a half hour to sign-in, get your coffee and breakfast, and network with your fellow advocates.

**This space is wheel chair accessible. Please let me know if other accommodations can be provided to make this training accessible to you!
