Sewing Reusable Tote Bags

Join us for a beginner-friendly class and use basic sewing skills to make your own reusable tote bags! These tote bags are great to take to farmers markets, for a weekend get away, or for everyday use. This is great project for anyone who is interested in taking their beginner sewing skills to the next level! All materials included. Registration is suggested. Space is limited.

Instructor: Kimberley Pierce Cartwright
Kimberley Pierce Cartwright is a local fiber artist living in Durham. She is a member of the African American Quilt Circle of Durham. She specializes in small quilt projects and teaches classes in art quilt design, upcycled clothing, and fabric postcards.
Early Bird Registration Bonus!
Register for any class at least 3 weeks in advance and receive a $5 store voucher good towards the purchase of any materials in The Scrap Exchange retail store! Voucher will be handed out at the beginning of the class, and will be valid for two weeks. The voucher may not be applied to Cameron Gallery items or programs. This voucher will only be given to students who register at least 3 weeks prior to the start date/time of the class.
Refunds for class fees will be issued if the class is cancelled by The Scrap Exchange for any reason. If you register for a class and cannot attend, a refund will only be issued if you notify the Scrap Exchange at least 24 hours before the class begins.
