Join us on the 3rd December for an Open Day to find out more about our Academic Year courses and short courses with Severnside Skills at Taurus Crafts.

Please find us in Severnside Kitchen or speak to a member of the cafe team as we may be showing people around the site.

What is Severnside Skills?

An inclusive campus for people with special educational needs (SEN).

Severnside Skills is a campus-based training provider, offering vocational skills and employment pathways for individuals with special educational needs. Set within the Taurus Crafts visitor centre, which creates opportunities to gain work experience in a thriving social enterprise setting.

Upcoming courses

Short courses:

• January 2026 - AQA 6-week short course: Using an oven: baking cakes, flans & biscuits (2 half-days per week)

Academic year courses:

• September 2026 onwards - Catering, Retail & Hospitality, Gardening, Cleaning & Housekeeping, Events.

All courses are AQA accredited.
