Event description
How to set up in Private Practice – and Make it Work!

About this Event

Setting up your own counselling private practice can be exciting but it can also be overwhelming in knowing where to start.

This full day workshop is aimed at counsellors and psychotherapists who are contemplating or already in the process of setting up in private practice. It is also for more newly qualified counsellors who may be thinking of private practice in the future.

The day will equip you with a step by step plan of what you need to put in place before you start seeing clients. It is a practical workshop which includes a lot of tips on how to make the process manageable. It’s delivered in an engaging way with lots of opportunity for questions so you can make it work for you. It also offers you an opportunity to meet other therapists who are in the same situation.

The workshop will give you a full understanding of all the steps you need to take, and areas you need to consider. It includes information and guidance on:

Since then she has gradually built up the practice and established Beverley Counselling & Psychotherapy in 2018. Six therapists now work from this newly renovated therapy centre, offering an array of therapeutic approaches to clients of all ages, alongside clinical superivion and CPD workshops.

She is also a clinical supervisor and tutor.

Caroline believes in the necessity of a sense of humour, particularly when grappling with intracacies such as the new data protection guidelines.
