ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Mexican by birth, Canadian by inclination, Silvia Moreno-Garcia is the author of a number of critically acclaimed novels, including Gods of Jade and Shadow, Mexican Gothic and others. Velvet Was the Night was published in August, 2021. Her latest novel, The Daughter of Doctor Moreau, was released in July 2022.
