Servus Omnium 2017: “Have You Been Served? Human Dignity, the Common Good, and the Purpose of Business”
The Servus Omnium Lecture Series at the University of Saint Francis combines business and philosophical precepts for a message of service for everyone. A breakfast and lecture, Servus Omnium 2017: “Have You Been Served? Human Dignity, the Common Good, and the Purpose of Business” will be offered on February 28.
Sister Helen Alford
With manufacturing company experience and a Ph.D. thesis on human-centered technology, Helen Alfrod entered the Dominican Order. At the Angelicum in Rome she is a professor of economics and ethics, vice dean, and a master's program director. She co-authored "Managing As If Faith Mattered" and is a consultor to the Pontifical Council of Justice and Peace, and senior adviser to the UK's Blueprint for Better Business.
Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door the day of the lecture. Corporate sponsorships are available.
