Pillars of Food Safety facilitates world class restaurant management training just of Highway 12, in the Meals on Wheels Training and Conference Room at Suisun City, California. This unique food safety manager class is designed with the professional restaurant manager in mind. A five hour fast paced comprehensive powerpoint presentation delivers 10 chapters of relevant food safety material quickly. Understand the 5 common causes of food borne illness and the 6 harmful pathogens that cause foodborne illness we protect against everyday. Learn all the minimum internal cooking temperatures of all food at all times. Learn how and why exposing food to the danger zone creates unsafe food. Understand the Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point active management system, what is it? and how it can help you prevent foodboorne illness. The certification examination is completed within 2 hours online and the results are presented upon completion.

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
Please bring your Valid ID, the Instructor and the Proctor will need to look at it at the time of entry and before the test.

From San Francisco: Merige onto I-80 eastbound. Take Exit 12E toward Suisun City/ Rio Vista. Exit right onto Marina Center. Take first left to stay on Marina center. 95 Marina Center is on the right.
From Sacramento: Merge onto I-80 Westbound. Take the Travis Blvd. exit in Fairfield. Turn left onto Trafis Blvd and follow to Pensylvania Avenue. What do I need to bring to the event?
Certification examinations are taken online.

Do I need to buy the ServSafe MANAGER Book 6th edition with 2013 Model Food Code updates?
Yes. First time examinees are required to purchase the book when they register for the class with exam. Receive with the book, additional valuable training material. The Diagnostic exam is designed to be used with the book to help examinees focus on areas of opportunity. The Practice Test will help you measure your current understanding of basic food safety concepts found throughout the book.
Do I need to buy an online exam voucher?
No. it is included with your complete registration and provided by the Examination Proctor.
Where can I contact the organizer with any questions?
Is my registration/ticket transferrable?
Yes. You must inform the organizer you would like to make a change.
Can I update my registration information?
Yes. Please provide all the information requested at the time of registration, if you can not you must inform the organizer you would like to make a change.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No. Your printed ticket contains other printed information, terms and conditions. You are encouraged to read it.
What is the refund policy? Sorry, no refunds.
The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?
No, The person attending needs to be named on the registration ticket. The registration is for the attendee who needs to take the exam. The Examination Proctor validates identity of all examinees. Contact the organizer if you would like to make a change
What happens if I need to change or cancel ?
Once you are registered you may change or cancel anytime. You may appear at the time you registered or any other posted time class or Exam Lab is in session with or without prior arrangement within 60 days of your purchase. Contact the organizer. email@example.com
What happens if I fail?
You must register again to attend class , retake the exam and purchase a self study training option., the MANAGER Book or the Online MANAGER Course. You are allowed 3 attempts to pass the exam. Together with your instructor, you will look at your strengths and weakness in the areas of the exam where you scored low. Your Instructor will advise you with the training you need before your second or third attempt. Your third attempt may not commence for 30 days following your second attempt, and successfull completion of prerequiste training will be required before your second or third attempt. If one does not pass within three attempts, one may not attempt the exam until 1 year has lapsed from the last attempt. * continued below.
HOW TO PASS.
Register for the class and exam and purchase the book or online course. 10 Days prior to class begin the preclass work and complete prior to coming to class at a pace of one chapter and upto 2 hours per night. Use the diagnostic and come to class prepared with questions. The Instructor will ellaborate or explain key concepts you will need to know to pass the exam the first time.
