“Powered by a Community Development Grant from Wells Fargo, "Service to Success" is an ambitious economic initiative; providing our service-members and their families with direct access to a variety of career-focused resource programs. Our simple goal is to align the talented individuals of our nation's military with valuable Employment, Transitional, Educational, Entrepreneurial, and even Social resources from across the region; bringing together a range of non-profit service providers for the benefit of those who have sacrificed so much in defense of our country.”
“Workshop attendees will be introduced to a range of topics; from job search strategies, career decision-making, and current occupational labor-market conditions; to resume writing, cover letter preparation, and interview techniques. eMerging Entrepreneurs has also aligned with local resource groups like Suited-N-Success; who will offer personal development training and recommendations of interview-quality business attire to men and women who want to make a great first impression! eMerging Entrepreneurs, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, that provides Career Transition Assistance, Small Business Training, and Entrepreneurial Developmental services to Military and under-served minority communities. The organization employs a grassroots approach to assisting those who seek to advance their small business interests; partnering with state & federal agencies, universities, local chambers of commerce, and military installations in an effort to extend high-tech training & resource solutions to under-served communities. Our group participates strictly as a support-agent to the economic development of our local business community; offering free small-business training and tutorial services to local communities that have been disproportionately stricken with higher rates of unemployment. Although our programs target those communities that statistically have suffered the most, we willingly service the extended population of entrepreneurs in an effort to support the business-building aspirations of all who seek it, regardless of demographic or community identification. eMerging Entrepreneurs’ Executive Director, T.J. Breeden, is the recipient of the White House’s “Champions of Change” award (in conjunction with President Obama’s “Winning the Future” initiative, and the SBA’s 2013 “Veteran Entrepreneurship Advocate of the Year” award.
