About this event

Join Our Savior's Way Lutheran Church for a simple service of worship with Holy Communion.

We have created this service to allow us to meet together in worship while being as safe as possible. This service will feature a reading, a short message, and communion. There will be no singing at this service, due to the increased risk, but music will be present to assist us in worship.

All attendees are required to wear face coverings while inside the building. Children age 8 and above are welcome to attend, but must keep their face covering on while in the building.

We ask those attending to pay attention to signage and the instructions of our volunteers for everyone's safety. Please maintain proper distancing and look for instruction as you approach the building. Entry will be through a single set of doors.

Seating will be assigned on a first come, first served basis. Family units will be seated together. There will be no special accommodations for seating near friends or family whom you do not live with. A six-foot distance will be maintained between non-household groups. Attendees will be dismissed at the end of the service to ensure adequate spacing. Please be sure to exit promptly using the indicated doorways, and maintain appropriate distance as you leave the property.

Attendees are encouraged to only use the restrooms if absolutely necessary. Restrooms may only be occupied by one family at a time.

While we are keeping six-feet apart, we encourage waves, smiles, and nods over handshakes, hugs, and kisses. Thank you for all your help in keeping our church community safe.

Please note:

  • All attendees must have a ticket to attend the service; walk-ins are not permitted. Minimum age to attend is 8 years old.
  • Face coverings are required to be worn while inside the building.
  • If you are sick, experiencing any symptoms of illness, or considered by the CDC or Virginia Department of Health to be in a vulnerable or high-risk group , you are asked to stay at home.

As an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death, COVID-19 poses an inherent risk at every public place where people are present. While we strive to keep Our Savior's Way safe for everyone, we cannot guarantee you will not catch the virus while at church. If you are uncomfortable attending in person worship in any way, please continue to worship with us online by watching our Sunday worship videos.
