About: The Salvation Army is an international movement, an evangelical part of the universal Christian Church. The Salvation Army provides a broad range of services including meals through Meal Ministries, emergency shelter, utility assistance, community outreach, clothing, supplemental groceries, and Christmas gifts, to name a few.

Service Learning Friday Tasks: Every evening, year-round, groups of 10-15 people serve the evening meal.

Know Before You Go: Arrive early to fill out application and present identification; this is a one-time process. Volunteers must wear closed-toe shoes, no sleeveless or mid-drift exposed shirt, long pants or shorts, and no clothing displaying derogatory pictures or writing.

Don’t forget to print and bring your Service Learning Tracking Form & Ethics and Commitments Agreement: https://www.fscj.edu/docs/default-source/academic-information/civic-engagement/cce-tracking-and-ethics.pdf
