About: The Eastside Environmental Council works to oversee environmental impact programs in the Eastside of Jacksonville in order to provide an empowered and economically sustainable Urban Core Community.

Service Learning Friday Tasks: Participation in the upkeep of the school garden at Matthew W. Gilbert Middle School.

Know Before You Go: Wear comfortable clothing and close-toed shoes suitable for gardening. Bring a hat, gardening tools (if available), notebook, gardening gloves (if available).
