SERVICE and YOGA RETREAT in Rishikesh, India, 2017
What will your service/yoga retreat experience be like?
Below is a tentative schedule of what to expect during our one week yoga retreat holiday/vacation this March 19 – March 26, 2017. Keep in mind this is a tentative schedule as things can shift and change due to availability and group dynamic, however all of these events will be included in the retreat. Please note: all activities are completely optional and are simply available for your enjoyment.

Two experienced and fun! yoga teachers (trained in India) will be leading and guiding the group.
Arrival and settling in at Mahatma Yoga ashram
5:30 a.m. Wake up with herbal tea and Pranayama/ breathing exercises
6:00 a.m. Hatha /VinyasaYoga
7:30 a.m. Ayurvedic breakfast (included)
8:00 a.m. Beach meditation / chanting with harmonium
10:00 am lecture, satsang with special guests
12:30 am Ayurvedic Lunch (included)
1:00 pm reading/resting time
3:00 p.m. Tea and gathering to leave for CofG school ( Non profit school for destitute children in Swargashram/ Ram Jhula
4:00 -5:30 p.m. Service at CofG (session1: dinner with students is included) or
5:30- 7:30 p.m. Service at CofG school (session 2: dinner with is students included)
Evenings are free for walks, exploring the scenic village of Laxman Jhula, aarti, beach kirtan with Stanley Ji, reading relaxation, yoga or enjoying sunset on the Ganga Beach.
1 hour of Ayurvedic massage is included in the package!
Airfare and local transportation from New Delhi to Rishikesh is not included in the price but can be arranged for additional fee.

Your 2 leaders:
Stanley Currier and Truike Boekholt-Daly met in 2009 in Rishikesh during their Yoga TTC and became friends.
While in Rishikesh they connected deeply and have returned to Rishikesh ever since. We are truly excited to share this magical/ spiritual place in India with you.
