Event description

Description

September 11th National Day of Service and Remembrance is an annual tribute to the 9/11 victims, survivors, and those who rose up in service in response to the attacks.

Join Repair the World in marking the anniversary of the 9/11 tragedy by serving in solidarity with our community at the Community Kitchen and Pantry of West Harlem. The kitchen is an initiative of the Food Bank of New York City, with the mission of ending hunger by organizing food, information, and support for community survival, empowerment, and dignity. The full-service soup kitchen and food pantry provides more than 100,000 free meals each month.

Volunteers will be supporting to prep and serve Dinner Service, which is a community meal open to anyone experiencing food insecurity.
