This training will help you gain a more complete understanding of meditation and an overview of the stages of the Buddhist path. It will help you strengthen your own practice, and also develop your ability to present mindfulness meditation in a clear and genuinely helpful way to others in both a group and 1-1 setting.

The program is aimed at those who wish to become more skillful in presenting mindfulness – such as yoga teachers, health care professionals, social workers, psychologists, educators, and fitness trainers. It is also open to those who simply wish to deepen their own practice and study.

There will be group practice, teaching exercises, additional individual practice and study requirements. Students will be required to practice mindfulness meditation for a minimum requirement of 20 minutes per day, at least 5 days a week for the duration of the program.

Additional details will be presented for smaller group practice and mock teaching sessions once the program is underway.

*** Certificate of Completion will be given to students who complete all requirements, make a satisfactory teaching presentation, and pass a written
final exam on the material covered. ***
