During our 2018 Heart Symposium, national thought leaders in cardiovascular care from Dignity Health Sequoia Hospital will discuss an array of important topics including:

• Management and treatment options for abnormal cardiac valves

• Atrial fibrillation

• Cardiac imaging and stress testing options for coronary artery disease

• Preoperative cardiac clearance guidelines

• Syncope and contemporary options for monitoring and diagnosing arrhythmias

• Congestive heart failure and use of newer medications and more


CME Consultants designates this live activity for a maximum of 5.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.

The presentational method for this activity will be Case Presentation with Learner Participation, Panel Discussion, and Lecture with Q&A Session. This activity is geared to meet the educational requirements of all physician specialties, nurses, mid-Level providers, technologists and other clinical and non-clinical health care professionals.   3. Refer timely and appropriately
  4. Manage follow-up care effectively
  5. Examine short-and-long-term outcomes of treatment selection for patients with heart disease, including surgical and non-surgical remedies
  6. Choose the most suitable advanced treatment for patients and “at risk” populations, taking into consideration cultural aspects such as age, gender, ethnicity, health literacy, socioeconomics, and obesity for better patient compliance
