About this Event

Come out to SB Cider Co. for an after-work drink and to hear an exciting talk on global politics presented by Associate Professor of Religious Studies at UCSB, Juan Campo. Arrive early to check in and grab a drink, program begins promptly at 5:45.

Juan E. Campo studied history and religion at the University of Southern California and the University of Chicago, where he received a doctorate in the History of Religions, with a specialization in Islam and the religions of the Middle East. He is Faculty Director of the UCSB Education Abroad Program, and served as Co-Director of the UCSB Center for Middle East Studies and faculty adviser for the graduate program of the UCSB Religious Studies Department. He is also an affiliated faculty member of the Global and International Studies Department.
