Event description
Gather with us to remember our kinship with Earth and deepen our spirituality in nature as we reflect on the miracles around us.

About this Event

Join Us as we gather among the trees and trails, birds and springs. Our theme "Blessed by Tiny Miracles" will serve as a reminder of the abundance of life all around us. We will follow a spacious rhythm of readings, chants, and sharing; walking or sitting in silence for 30 minutes will serve as our “sermon.” We will close with a brief time of conversation, light snacks, and fellowship.

Bring your camp/lawn chair or blanket, reusable water bottle, bug spray and your journal (optional). Because we are focuing on tiny miracles, a blanket or rug might be particularly helpful this time. You may wish to bring cash as we will be accepting donations to be split between Shepherd's Spring for care of the land and Church of the Wild to be used for direct expenses for this all-volunteer organization.

As you arrive at Shepherd's Spring, look for Church of the Wild signs that will direct you to the gathering area. You can anticipate walking a few minutes on well marked trails to reach our gathering place. The surface is slightly uneven but not difficult. If you are concerned about walking or balance, email us ahead of time so that we can tell you more.

Please plan to arrive at least 15 minutes early so that you can park, walk to the site and settle in; we will begin on time. If despite best laid plans you are late, please do come on ahead and join the circle; one of our greeters will discretely catch you up with what's happening.

Church of the Wild ~ Two Rivers is an emerging community, meeting in the midst of and drawing from the beauty around us. Our intent is to deepen our connection to the Holy by being more fully present, open and available in each moment. We learn from the earth and trees, the waters and sky, and from all living beings, human and non-human.

You are welcome! We welcome anyone who seeks to deepen their spirituality through time in nature. Whatever your religious tradition, or if you have none, Christian or otherwise, no matter your gender identity or sexual orientation, you are welcome here. Children are welcome too; email us ahead of time so that we can offer suggestions to make this time more meaningful and relevant for them. Dogs are not permitted at this location.
