Transitioning military, veterans, reserve & guard, and spouses! Want to find a new career? Do you know which resume format is best? What will you be asked in an interview? How can LinkedIn help? Get the answers to these questions and more! One on one coaching is included. Participants rave about this interactive workshop series! We have over a 90% success rate.

Learn from the best! Local Human Resource and business professionals, who understand today's hiring practices, will share their expertise and experience. VetCTAP program is free of charge, but you must pre-register. These interactive and highly-informative classes are scheduled 2 evenings per week for 4 weeks. Plan on attending them all.

A binder chocked-full of valuable materials and resources is included. An optional lab time with one-on-one coaching is also provided. Attendees rave about these workshops.

Create a Winning Resume: Identify your marketable military skills, experience, and value. Get the interview!

4 Wednesday, September 20

Professional Networking Techniques: Networking is a contact sport. Use LinkedIn, your personal/professional network effectively.

5 Monday, September 25

Business Basics: Overview of the Corporate world.

VetCTAP Graduate Panel/ Lessons learned during transition.

6 Wednesday, September 27

Interviewing Skills: Speak the employer’s language, sell your skills, increase your comfort level, and get the job.

7 Monday, October 2

Business Panel/Interviews: Learn from corporate business leaders. Participate in mock interviews and receive feedback.

8 Wednesday, October 4

Resource Night /Graduation: Additional community, veteran, and business support.


Must I attend all nights?

Yes, to qualify to be a "VetCTAP graduate" and receive a virtual coach, you must attend all 8 workshop nights. You may make-up nights in other months, if you miss a session.

Who can attend?

Spouses are welcome to register.

Veterans/military of any age, rank, era, or branch of service are welcome. Discharge status is not a factor for attendance.

What is the cost?

It is free. Your investment is your time and effort.

What about parking?

Give yourself extra time to find the building. Free parking. We do not offer transporation.

How should I dress?

Business casual.

What should I bring?

Please bring your resume the first night (required). You may also bring food or drinks.

Where is VetCTAP offered?

Currently, we are in North County in Oceanside and Rancho Bernardo area of San Diego. Look for other locations in the future.
