Join AFCEA Hawaii Tuesday, September 10th, 2019 to hear Colonel Glen Genove, USINDOPACOM Deputy CIO and Chief, C4 Strategy, Integration, Resources, and Requirements. Pre-Register before Friday, September 6th at 6 PM to save on registration.

Col Genove's topic is Optimizing Coalition Interoperability – Moving from the “Network of Networks” to Identity-Based Access in Multi-Domain Operations.

Colonel Glen M. Genove is the Deputy Chief Information Officer and Chief, C4 Strategy, Integration, Resources, and Requirements Division, Headquarters United States Indo-Pacific Command, Camp H.M. Smith, HI. He is responsible for C4 support across the largest regional combatant command enabling joint and coalition operations. In this capacity, he leads USINDOPACOM’s digital strategy, technology roadmap, C4 resourcing, and requirements programs supporting 375,000 joint warfighters at the headquarters, four component commands, four sub-unified commands and all joint task forces. Additionally, Colonel Genove manages a 58 million dollar Information Technology Portfolio and oversees USINDOPACOM’s cybersecurity, information and knowledge management, and command records programs to optimize operational effectiveness and efficiency throughout the full range of military operations.

He served in various cyberspace operations, communications and information, and force support positions, at the Squadron, Group, Wing, Numbered Air Force, Field Operating Agency, Major Command, Headquarters U.S. Air Force, and Unified Combatant Command levels. Colonel Genove commanded at both the Squadron (611th Air Communications Squadron, Elmendorf AFB, Alaska, and 451st Expeditionary Communications Squadron, Kandahar Airfield, Afghanistan) and Group (435th Air and Space Communications Group, Ramstein Air Base Germany) levels, and most recently, served as the Deputy Director of Air and Cyberspace Operations, Chief Information Officer, and Director of Cyberspace Forces, Headquarters Pacific Air Forces, Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii.
